A Bit About Me

Hello!

My name is Kate and I am a 22 year old photographer based in Leeds, UK. 

My creative journey began long ago, before I even started attending school. Since early age I have been interested in everything creative. I was always drawing, crafting, dancing and doing lots more.

I first became passionate with photography at the age of 12, using my father's camera on our trips around the world. He was my main teacher, explaining all the little things related to photography. Since then, I never put a camera down, wether it was the camera itself or even my phone ocasionally.

At the age of 17 I moved to UK by myself to start my higher education here. Since going to University I realised that creativity is the main thing I wanted to explore. My diploma had lots of it, however the main focused stayed on coding and the implementation of designs and concepts, but my favourite part was always to come up with ideas.

Another thing to say is that I have always been a tremendous fan of music in all of its forms. I've been involved in many fandoms since I was 12 years old. This had a significant impact on my personality. And I can also say that it influenced my perception of who I want to be in my career path.

This all led to my decision of starting as a live music photographer. And that's where I am right now. In the beginning of my journey to become a photographer that will work for different musicians!
